A beloved prayer

More and more this summer I’ve been conducting Evening Prayer services at a few different churches within the Parish  I am working in. Most are for small congregations which are part of a ‘mission’ parish attached to the actual church I am working at.

Following the Third Collect, in the Prayer Book Evening Prayer service there is room granted for the officiant to insert prayers of their choosing. This is one I really really love and have been putting in more and more, so much so that it is becoming routine.

There isn’t much that needs be said about it, I think it speaks for itself. Just lovely:
